Analysis of the results of polyfocal punctional biopsy of prostate gland

I this article you can see analyzes of the results of the executed polyfokal needle biopsy of prostate gland

in 537 patients, 380 of them have been diagnosed with cancer of the prostate. In the group of patients

with diagnosed prostate cancer prevailed men older age group, average age was 71±10 year (41–91years).

Researching methods in the work were: the definition of the level of total prostate specific antigen (PSA).

As a refinement of research methods used polyfokal needle biopsy of the prostate with histological

examination of the material, using Gleason for the assessment of histological verification of the pathological

process.
